Candlelight - Steps and Skips on the Piano Keyboard
I don't know about you, but I am always looking for fun ways to get my beginning piano students to learn steps and skips on the piano keyboard. And activities they can do independently - AWESOME! This digital game is great for both online and in person lessons.
Your students only need the link. That takes them right to the game. They do not need a google account, or a password, or an email. They only need a device that can access the internet.
Students play through 5 puzzles identifying steps and skips on the keyboard. They earn one letter after successfully completing each puzzle. They write down all the letters. In order to win the game, they must unscramble the letters to spell a word that has something to do with "Candlelight".
On any page of the game, they can click back to a "refresher page" that tells them what a step and a skip are.
This game is self-checking, so only correct answers will allow them to advance.
